Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Siege Announcement - E3 2014 (Ubisoft)

Ubisoft also continued to surprise us like they did in 2012 with Watch Dogs and in 2013 with The Division, by showing something new. They began to show the game as an unknown title but did state that it was pre alpha footage from a multiplayer game.

The mission shown was divided between two sides. The police and the criminals. Shown from the police’s perspective, their goal was to find the hostage. A player controls a drone walking around getting a view of the situation. They then begin by dropping in from a helicopter.

A first person shooter, they begin to attempt to grab the hostage. By rappelling down the building, breaching some windows, and shooting the enemy. Once the hostage is grabbed, they must escape using shields, grenades and a straight up shoot out. The house itself is being destroyed from every bullet, creating holes within the wall. The only issue was the lack color, but I do recognize that it may be due to the fact that it an early build.

Only at the end, do they reveal that it is Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Siege

Six years since last Rainbow Six game, this is the long awaited game that many have been waiting for. But no official date was announced, as it is early in its development.
