Super Smash Bros. for Wii U & 3DS - E3 2014 (Nintendo)



Begging the Nintendo E3 press conference, they began it with a fight between Reggie Fils-Aime and Satoru Iwata which transferred to Super Smash Bros for Wii U. By transitioning to gameplay playing as Mii’s. Then transitioning to place a figure on the game pad to be played as

It was soon expanded on that you can now play as a Mii Fighter. Each with 3 different play styles. The Mii Brawler who focuses on close combat with fists. The Mii Swordfighter who focuses on weapons such as swords. And finally the Wii Gunner who focuses on longer range fighting, using guns. This leads to the player to choose 4 special moves from 12 specials for 36 possible combinations. Players will also have the option to bring in other Mii characters. Such as Elijah Wood or Ice T.

The game is set for Holiday 2014

There was also an update on Smash Bros for the 3ds as it is the first handheld Smash Bros game.

Towards the end of the conference, a new playable character for Super Smash Bros was also introduced. Through an animated trailer, we see the introduction of Palutena from the game Kid Icarus: Uprising.
