Batman/Superman Movie to be named "Batman v Superman Dawn Of Justice"

The long awaited Batman/Superman movie now officially has a logo and title. It will be called Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice.

Warner Brothers announced this today through the new official Batman/Superman Twitter. As well as through Facebook via an official press release.

"Principal photography is underway in Metro Detroit, Michigan
BURBANK, CA, May 21, 2014 – Filming is underway on Warner Bros. Pictures’ “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice,” the highly anticipated action adventure from director Zack Snyder, starring Henry Cavill in the role of Clark Kent/Superman, and Ben Affleck as BruceWayne/Batman.
“Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” also stars Gal Gadot as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman, with Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane returning from “Man of Steel,” Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred, and Holly Hunter in a role newly created for the film.
“Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice”is written by Chris Terrio, from a screenplay by David S. Goyer.  Charles Roven and Deborah Snyder are producing, with Benjamin Melniker, Michael E. Uslan, Wesley Coller, David S. Goyer and Geoff Johns serving as executive producers.
Principal photography will take place on location at Michigan Motion Picture Studios and on location in and around Detroit, Michigan; Illinois; Africa; and the South Pacific.
Set to open worldwide on May 6, 2016, “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” is based on Superman characters created by Jerry Siegel & Joe Shuster, Batman characters created by Bob Kane, and Wonder Woman created by William Moulton Marston, appearing in comic books published by DC Entertainment."

This signifies the start of production for the movie. This confirms the fact that Batman and Superman will indeed fight, which had been previously expected. The title may also refer to the creation of the Justice League, hence Dawn Of Justice. This also helps with the fact that Gal Gadot was cast as Wonder Woman and Ray Fisher as Cyborg, two members of the Justice League.

Along with this, they include the new logo that will accompany this film (above), and an official website

Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice is set to release on May 6, 2016

Being a Batman fan and thoroughly enjoyed Man Of Steel, I have always wanted to see a live action Batman v. Superman. Now my comic side is fully excited, and I do have high hopes for the future of these franchises.

First look at 'Batman: Arkham Knight' in "Evening The Odds" [Video]

Our first glimpse of Batman Arkham Knight is here. Rocksteady just released the first gameplay trailer for their upcoming entry in the Arkham franchise.

View the video down below

The video shows off gameplay and its new graphics for next - gen consoles, all while teasing more of what is to come.

It shows off Batman, along with the new Batmobile and the ability to quickly summon the Batmobile and hop into it. Along with it driving thorough Gotham, and the ability to eject and soar through the skies. One of the most prominent new things is the city of Gotham. We see the vast horizon and buildings that inhabit it which includes new places to explore and, of course, fight crime.

We also view our first look at our main villain, The Arkham Knight, who manages to pin down our Dark Knight by gunpoint. Along with returning villains Two-Face, The Penguin, and The Scarecrow. Of course, we also see returning heroes, Commissioner Gordon, and The Oracle (Barbara Gordon) our first time in an Arkham game.

Being a fan of the Arkham franchise, this has me excited. Being able to explore even more on a beautifully rendered world and continue fighting on as Batman, this video only makes me wish it was already out.

Batman Arkham Knight has no official release date but is announced for Fall 2014 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.

Bonnie Ross, General Manager at 343, said the following about the game through Xbox Wire. Claiming that “Halo 5: Guardians” is a bigger effort than “Halo 4.” That applies to the content and scope of the game, as well as the technology in what’s now a brand new and more powerful engine. Certainly there are some core elements carried over from prior games, but we’ve invested a huge effort in retooling our tech to take full advantage of the Xbox One’s hardware and ecosystem to create worlds and experiences worthy of next-gen." and that "It’s a game that will hopefully demonstrate the talent, learnings and abilities of the 343 Industries team. A game that will incorporate the things we learned from “Halo 4” about technology, aesthetics, performance and scale – and perhaps more importantly, understanding and embracing a community of gamers who love what lies at the heart of this game, and the limitless potential of the “Halo” universe."

She also hinted at even more Halo projects such as the Halo television series
"And 2015 won’t simply be the year of “Halo 5: Guardians,” it will also be a year that offers us a unique opportunity. The opportunity to invite old friends and new audiences into that universe through the “Halo” television series, launched as a unique collaboration with Steven Spielberg and some of the finest creative minds in the business. A series that will stand alone, as well as complement and enrich the game experience. We’ll have more to share on the “Halo” television series as we near its projected fall 2015 release."
Ross again mentioned the journey they are taking with Halo and that it "definitely begins in 2014 with a giant leap, rather than one small step."

Along with this news, the first promo photo was revealed

along with other variations, plus wallpapers

The game is set to be released Fall 2015, however it was said by Bonnie Ross that "We’ll give you much more information about our plans for this year at the Xbox E3 2014 Media Briefing on June 9, and we’re confident that “Halo” fans will be pretty excited about the special plans we have in store."

Keeping with tradition, the game will be an Xbox exclusive, this time however it will only be available on the Xbox One and not the Xbox 360.

First Look At Ben Affleck As Batman, and The Batmobile

Zack Snyder has just revealed the first official look of Ben Affleck as Batman and The Batmobile. Through his official twitter he wrote

I shot this with my @Leica_Camera M Monochrom. #Batman #Batmobile #Gotham http://imgur.com/3hRU6px pic.twitter.com/p5DEf6fLzJ
Along with the following photo

The photo shows of Affleck as Batman standing next to the Batmobile. The Batsuit is very reminiscent of Frank Millers Batman from  The Dark Knight Returns, in both the cowl and bat symbol used. However, he will most likely be younger compared to the older counterpart in Frank Millers version.

This news comes after the tease made by Zack Snyder yesterday on his twitter that hinted at the new version of the Batmobile with the following photo

The movie which had no official title, yet referred to by most as Batman vs. Superman, is set to come out 2016 after being previously pushed back from its 2015 launch. It is set to be

Directed by Zack Snyder,
Written by David S. Goyer & Zack Snyder.
While also staring
Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne/Batman, and

The next installment of Call Of Duty has been revealed. Titled Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare. This time, it is being made by Sledgehammer Games, but still published by Activision.

Spacey known for a variety of films and television, this character is very reminiscent of Frank Underwood. A character he played int the popular Netflix show House Of Cards. Simply in the way he speaks of politics, but of course, this is a new character in the Call Of Duty series.
