The next season of Doctor Who now has a release date. Your next appointment with The Doctor is scheduled for August 2014. Announced today by the BBC through a 16 second teaser (below). It says that "THE NEW DOCTOR LANDS THIS AUGUST"

This included a teaser photo of the upcoming season. Showing the next Doctor, who is to be played by Peter Capaldi, silhouetted against the TARDIS
With this, they also revealed a new version of the 'Doctor Who' logo.
