A trailer was shown during the E3 Microsoft Media Briefing for the next game by Insomniac Games, Sunset Overdrive.
We see it poke fun at Counterstrike. We see crazy running, shooting and action with an almost comic book like feeling.
We see more of what the story may entail.
Set in a place called Sunset City, where a contaminated energy drink is turning everyone to mutants.
It asks whether you are up to the task and whether you can do it… Only to answer, “Of course you can, because it’s a f****** video game.
A gameplay demo was also shown. The mission to make your way past enemies to reach a Ferris wheel. It shows how you are always shooting and moving in the 3D environment. Fighting different types of enemies, such as one called a Herker. High jumping, quick moving, and grinding on rails for nonstop action.
It will also have multiplayer. An 8 player mode called Chaos Squad where players collectively earn loot. All running on dedicated Microsoft servers.
The game will be available October 28, 2014 only on Xbox One
